Obama’s failures as president of United States

Who is Barack ObamaWhile doing a recent Google search for an article, I ran into some interesting figures when I searched the term, “Obama’s accomplishments as President of United States”.

As you can see, obamas-accomplishments1there were around 3,010,000 results of others searching this term at the time. But when I changed the word accomplishments to failures, the obamas-failures1numbers increased dramatically to 29,800,000.

It appears that folks around the world are more concerned with Barack Obama’s failures than his accomplishments.

Let’s see why that may be from just one journalist’s account.

Genevieve Wood is the senior fellow in communications at the Heritage Foundation and the senior contributor for the Daily Signal.

Tuesday night, exactly 2,899 days after his 2008 election victory speech in Chicago’s Grant Park, President Obama returned to his adopted hometown to give his farewell speech to the nation.

The president who promised to fundamentally transform the country ticked off a list of what he deemed as his administration’s accomplishments. Interestingly, he neglected to explain why such accomplishments ultimately led to Democrats losing the White House, Congress, and elected offices up and down state ballots over the last eight years.

Here are several other facts he didn’t include:

When Obama entered office, our national debt was $10.6 trillion. Today? It’s $19.5 trillion and counting.

On his watch, there was an unparalleled expansion of the regulatory state. Since he took office in 2009, more than 200 new major regulations have increased the regulatory burden by $108 billion annually. And these burdens fall directly onto the shoulders of everyday Americans.

Heritage Foundation economists predict that Obama’s regulations to counter climate change alone will kill hundreds of thousands of jobs and increase what American households spend on electricity by 13 to 20 percent over the next 20 years.

And then there is the president’s signature policy, the Affordable Care Act, which has proven to be anything but affordable. Contrary to what he originally promised, many Americans have not been able to keep their doctors.

So far, more than half of the 23 co-ops have failed, costing taxpayers $1.2 billion and forcing more than 740,000 people in 14 states, at last count, to scramble to find new health insurance.

Premiums did not go down, they went up. And by 2025, the Congressional Budget Office predicts that employment-based coverage will cost about 60 percent more than it does today because of Obamacare.

When it comes to fighting poverty, instead of building on successful measures, such as requiring able-bodied adults on welfare to work, prepare for work, or do a job search, the Obama administration gutted work requirements. And though unemployment has dropped in recent years, the food stamp program has grown dramatically. In 2008, fewer than 30 million Americans were receiving food stamps. By 2014, that number had risen to 46.5 million.

Then there was his tendency to act like an imperial president.

From granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants to mandating transgender bathroom policies on public schools, the Obama administration showed a complete disregard for Congress and the people’s elected representatives, using executive orders to get its way.

And, as Obama comes to the end of his two terms in office, is the world a better place? Is it safer?

Let’s take a look . . .

By any objective measure, trans-national terrorist threats are far greater today than when Obama took office in 2009. There have been more than 90 Islamist-related terror plots aimed at the United States since 9/11, and most of them have occurred on his watch.

The Iran nuclear deal can already be deemed a failure as Tehran is now more aggressive than ever. It is accelerating its ballistic missile program, has escalated its military intervention in Syria, and continues to stoke the sectarian divisions in Iraq.

Our relations with China are worse, and we’ve done nothing to stop its attempts to lay claim to the South China Sea in defiance of international norms. Obama clearly feels that getting the Chinese to sign the Paris agreement on climate change matters more than their island-building and tests of new ballistic missiles in that region.

The president promised to reset relations with Russia and signed the New START agreement. The result? Russia continues to modernize nuclear weapons. It seized Crimea and continues to conduct a proxy war in Ukraine and support genocide in Syria.

And closer to home, there is little evidence that Obama’s normalizing of relations with Cuba has done anything but strengthen the Castro regime. Violent beatings against pro-democracy activists have escalated, and the number of political dissidents being detained is on schedule to break previous records.

But perhaps one of the most concerning outcomes of Obama’s policies is that the state of our military has deteriorated – primarily as a result of inadequate funding, which led to a shrinking force that possesses aging equipment and modest levels of readiness for combat. The Heritage Index of U.S. Military Strength now grades the state of the military as marginal – not exactly a term that puts fear in the hearts of those who might seek to challenge us.

Despite the president’s attempt to suggest otherwise, America is not better off and the world is not a safer place after his eight years in office.

I doubt this was the “hope and change” most Americans were counting on. And Americans followed his “Yes, we can” mantra by electing a completely new direction for the country in November 2016.

geirlundestadIn yet another note of Obama’s Presidential failures, according to the BBC News, Geir Lundestad, the ex-Nobel Commitee’s secretary, regrets giving Obama the peace prize. “Awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to US President Barack Obama in 2009 failed to achieve what the committee hoped it would,” the ex-secretary has said.

Is Obama Muslim? You Decide After Watching This.

During his address to the United Nation’s General Assembly yesterday, President Obama repeatedly made it a point to stress how Islam is a religion of peace. “We have reaffirmed again and again that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Islam teaches peace. Muslims the world over aspire to live with dignity and a sense of justice. And when it comes to America and Islam, there is no us and them, there is only us — because millions of Muslim Americans are part of the fabric of our country.”(source: Townhall.com)

After the nation learned the horrific news of a woman being beheaded in Moore, Oklahoma, at the hands of a Muslim lunatic, posts began to surface on Twitter as to the behavior of the Muslim community in that area. Tweets by several users allege that shortly after the press conference was held by Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis, a group of around 40 Muslims gathered around the police, several shouting, “Praise Allah!” while others gathered and read passages out of their Qurans. (source: Madworldnews.com)

Is Obama Muslim?

Why would the Commander and Chief of the US Armed Forces warn ISIS publicly that he was going to order air strikes against them? Why would he stand idly by and allow Muslim radicals, knowingly tied to terrorism supporting countries, to enter the United States?

Obama Bungling, Or Is He?

“When all else fails or you don’t have a clue, smile and move on”. This appears to be Barack Obama’s take on United States and world events throughout his entire reign as dictator of the United States of Admonishment. He is able to stand tall and tell other countries what they need to do, but fails miserably to make the right choices regarding our own country as  President of what once was the greatest nation on the planet. The United States of America is well on it’s way to becoming a third world country thanks to the past four presidencies and set into full throttle by Barack Obama and his regime.

Pardon me if I seem a bit hard on the people who are leading the United States to the brink of World War III, but it doesn’t look like anyone in congress is doing much to change the course of things. Fearful of this being too close to another election and possibly losing their cushy overpaid, under taxed, and stagnant jobs, most politicians are in the float stage right now. Yes there are a few who are involved, but to what degree? How many do you see out there in the trenches and willing to do what it takes to change the destructive course this country has been set on?

Barack Obama has replaced everyone who opposes his ideas. Truthfully, he has led terrorism through the front door of the United States as well as other countries by opening the door as wide as possible. America, as well as any other country, has always had it’s problems. That’s going to happen when you are a world leader and everyone looks up to you as such, however, that is no longer the case. Our presidents now appear as bungling idiots to the rest of the world and the citizens are chastised for allowing it to happen.

(Source: Wikipedia.org) The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to U.S. President Barack Obama for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”. The Norwegian Nobel Committee announced the award on October 9, 2009, citing Obama’s promotion of nuclear nonproliferation and a “new climate” in international relations fostered by Obama, especially in reaching out to the Muslim world.

The Nobel Committee’s decision drew mixed reactions from US commentators and editorial writers across the political spectrum, as well as from the rest of the world.

Obama accepted the prize in Oslo on December 10, 2009. In a 36-minute speech, he discussed the tensions between war and peace and the idea of a “just war” saying, “perhaps the most profound issue surrounding my receipt of this prize is the fact that I am the Commander-in-Chief of the military of a nation in the midst of two wars.” (S0urce: Wikipedia.org)

So do the paragraphs above about the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize mean that because Barack Obama is a self proclaimed Muslim he is justifying all of the wars thrust on the world in the name of Islam? Does this mean he is going to give as much assistance to Isis as he is able to in order to justify their cause for the terror they are inflicting? It sure looks like it.

Does the term “just war” mean that the beheading of Americans overseas and blatantly posting it on the internet is justifiable for their cause as well? Does it also mean that the next step will be the beheading of Americans on our own soil and posted on the internet for all the world to see that we have been beaten and nothing can stop Isis from achieving their goal of Islamic world dominance? For the sake of the entire world you better hope that it doesn’t.

US Marines Ordered To Disarm In Presence Of Secretary Of Defense, Leon Panetta

During Leon Panetta’s term as US Secretary of Defense, the US Marines were ordered to lay down their weapons and disarm when in Panetta’s presence. Does this make any sense to any of you folks? The US Marines are trained to protect their country and it’s representatives. They are always armed while on duty. Is our government “testing the waters” to see if the Marines will follow orders regardless of what they are?
