Why People Trust The Medical Professions Less And Less Each Year

It doesn’t amaze us here at Suppressed Information that each year so many more people are asking for second and third opinions about their medical conditions or procedures. Almost every week we are hearing news about some study which shows that previous recommendations on medical issues were wrong. We find that procedures, drugs, and medical information was incorrect from the beginning because the value of the almighty dollar by the medical industry and the big pharmaceutical companies rushed their products to market without thorough testing. Have you noticed the influx of new prescription drugs over the past ten years with astounding numbers of side effects. Some with very limited studies performed. This is because the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) basically have bought off the FDA, Food and Drug Administration, but that’s another story.

Below are two important cases:

Vast Study Casts Doubts on Value of Mammograms: One of the largest and most meticulous studies of mammography ever done, involving 90,000 women and lasting a quarter-century, has added powerful new doubts about the value of the screening test for women of any age. (source: nytimes.com)

Many dental products contain dangerously high levels of fluoride. For years, manufacturers and dentists failed to warn consumers about the risks from ingesting these products. Although the FDA now requires manufacturers to warn consumers that fluoride products are poisonous when swallowed, manufacturers and dentists are still using these products in ways that expose consumers and patients to potentially toxic levels of fluoride.

Just one 1 gram of fluoride toothpaste (a full strip of paste on a regular-sized brush) is sufficient to cause acute fluoride toxicity in two-year old child (e.g., nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhea).

In adults, fluoride toothpaste can cause skin rashes around the mouth known as perioral dermatitis as well as canker sores. (source: FlourideAlert.Org)
